How to host a permaculture skillshare weekend

This how-to guide is a free resource for anyone interested in hosting a Permaculture Skillshare Weekend.

It’s based on a series of steps a group of friends and I take to scheme up a Permaculture Skillshare Weekend twice a year, rotating between the north and south of lutruwita/Tasmania.

We host a physical event, but this strategy could be adapted for an online Skillshare, too.  It could also be reworked to suit themes other than permaculture, or it could be reimagined into a one-day event.

The intention is that you use this guide as a leaping-off point and adapt it freely to suit your idea of what a Skillshare could be.

All the info here is based on our experiences so far, so cherry-pick the ideas at will! Take what you need, and have fun sharing skills and meals.
