Hi, I’m Nat Mendham.
a Tasmanian creative focused on mending things that matter
.

My work lives at the intersection of art, resourcefulness, and resistance.

For me, it’s well-loved clothes, our connections with nature and community, and our sense of hope for the future that feel most worth repairing.

You can find me picking up a pen, needle and thread and using my voice to help fix things, one slow stitch, intentional word, community project at a time.

NOTE: This 12-month project has now wrapped up.

Hands pressing a kale seedling into the earth.
Do stuff. Be clenched, curious. Not waiting for inspiration’s shove or society’s kiss on your forehead. Pay attention. It’s all about paying attention. Attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. Stay eager.
